Wow 8 years... This is my card for the WT146 challenge. Flower - Lilac (I think maybe the stickers I put on my card might have some lilacs in the flower arrangement.- I do have lilac colored quilled roses and a lilac colored crocus on the stamp)
Gemstone - Tanzania (light purple or blue color stone) (Not quite the color of Tanzania but I added two light purple rhinestones on the card.)
Traditional gifts - bronze or pottery On the "back" side I embossed Mark's Finest Papers set CRACKED HELLO with bronze embossing powder. I think the cracked background kinda looks like pottery that has cracked.)
Modern gifts - linen or lace (For the lace, I used a paper doily , and I used a lacy border punch.)
When I was about 1/2 way done with this card, I thought it was a disaster and that I should just toss it in the trash and call it a day, but I kept adding to the collage and when I was done, I kinda like it. Not my favorite, but not going in the trash... at least not by me. I am sending it to a friend who has been fighting a really bad infection and has missed a lot of days of work this week. Maybe this will cheer her up.
Stamps sets used are all Mark's Finest Papers sets.
