This is another Roni Johnson technique, Paper Paste.
I used watercolor paper, painted on a mixture of equal parts PPA glue and red acrylic paint. After it was on pretty smoothly, I ziggled some red glitter glue over it, and wiggled a plastic fork through all of it from one end to the other. When it dried, the glitter is mixed in the paint. The embellishment came from a Christmas card making kit, and it has a pretty rainbow gem on it. It doesn't look as pretty in the picture as it is in real life. |
