For today's Color Challenge (CC415), the More Mustard, Old Olive and Midnight Muse seemed sort of 70s retro to me so I thought they'd work out with these retro images. Yesterday's Technique Challenge (TLC41 was to use circles so I'm combining those two challenges here.
The images and dies are a sneak peek of some new things being released March 1st by Our Daily Bread designs. I stamped the Recipe Icons and die cut them using the circle die that comes in the set and I used the scallop circle that is also in the set after I stamped the Gingham Bg in the three colors. I'll let you know ahead of time that the circle and scallop circle dies are not the same size as any of the current circle or scallop circle dies by Spellbinder. I have both the small & large sets of both & I checked, lol. I did use one of the regular circle dies to cut out the retro lady and to die cut the little gold rings around the images. I stamped a couple more the icons on the white bg and attached it to a mustard piece on which I stamped the gingham with mustard ink. The sentiment is a partial from the Bicycle set and I punched it out using a word window punch. The blue gingham layer behind it was done using a small corner rounder. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

So homey, Julie! I love the images and I was going to mention the gingham "paper" until I saw it was a stamp! hmmm, might have to look into that! Great card.
