I wanted to use my new Simply Scored Borders Plate that I just picked up this morning. I used it on my card for both the Color Challenge and the CAS Featured Stamper Challenge, CASEing this card from Ceal's (simplybeautiful) gallery. After scoring the zigzag across the bottom of my card, I used the acrylic block technique to add squares of the color challenge inks at the top. The palm trees and sentiment were stamped with Old Olive. As I spritzed the acrylic blocks with water after covering them with ink, I think I qualified for dessert -- watercoloring.

Very nice, Lois! I love that you incorporated the embossing. I guess I will play around with that for future variations. I get obsessed with something and like to make a batch of things before I move on to the next thing. I have not made good use of my embossing plates so thanks for the reminder. Fun!

This is really pretty - love your plant against the three blocks of color.

Love your little palm trees Lois! Wish I was somewhere where they grow right now. Rather tired of winter. Your zig zag embossed border is super cute too!
