This card is the result of learning a new technique from a friend -- thanks, Becky! The flowers were white embossed. Then we used a water brush to paint them white with a white pigment ink pad. After that dried, I colored on top with distress markers and then blended the marker with a blender pen. Next time I'll try to get more on when I do the white layer to make them pop against the kraft even more. I don't know the name of the technique, but I really like the results.
ETA: this technique is faux whitewash

You're welcome! I was excited to learn this technique, too. Love the card, even tho' personal experience has taught me that your cards look even prettier in person. Look forward to seeing this one in person next time I'm at your place ... unless it gets sent to someone before that!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful card and the "recipe"! I've been offline from SCS for a very long time - only check in every now and then when I can steal a moment.
Your card is delightful! You are a dear to share your technique with all of the SCSers!
Have a great start to the new week and be happy!

I've always loved white and kraft together but this technique is really beautiful! Love the soft additional colour. Will have to try this (after I do a little shopping, ...think I need a few things :-) ) TFS
