this is another card for lovefest and also I wanted to catch this lovely stamper that is featured this week..Andrea ...or...Stampinandrea.
Aother great gallery to look around in. so many neat styles and fun cards. Went back and forth a few times but decided to make this card here..http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...;ppuser=186336.
Loved the white base and simple but pretty design. Got to use my new die-cut from my mom too so even better.
the love fest challenge was to use these 4 colors..not sure how to add link so one..kind of rusty orange, aqua, brown and cream.
these pretty flowers I thought would work nice. These are not my usual colors, but was neat to try them out. I stamped and colored the flowers with water color markers, didnt get to blend them as I wanted because I wnated to use brown base and my only staz on ink is black. I had no aqua blue ink, so I tried to sponge a light blueish green and then did a touch of light green over top to give it the aqua look. Used the cream and orange in the flowers. Made the little sentiment and cut out by hand and sponged the edge a bit with the 2 colors to match. then just added the ribbon...which also was blue so sponged some green onto it to help it match.
I was on a roll so finished the inside with matching dp and made the envelope to match...fun...
Ty andrea for the great tour and also Lovefest group....Unity stamp company for the great challenge and getting me out of my comfort zone.
thank you for the visit and have a great day..:0)

So beautiful Lil Sistah! Love those soft, textured blues. So striking on white. Lymi
