 | | Today's Love Fest Challenge from host company Taylored Expressions was to make a set of 3x3 or smaller cards. My DD and I are hosting a baby shower for our church's intern's wife on Sunday and I used this stamp set and similar colors for the invites. I was only going to make a couple, but I got hooked and just kept stampin' away! The best part of these small scale cards it the ability to make a little go a long way. I used my Tasteful Trims die earlier today and had a bunch of pieces, and negative pieces left over. I used a lot of these as accents and pulled out some real rick rack as well. A couple of the cards are popped on dimensionals and I used corner rounder and ticket corner punches on some as well. The nice part of adding these trim sections was that I could stamp the whole image (sentiment included) and just cover the unwanted portion with my trims. |
