Well, it is awful late to be up still, but I had a busy day! My youngest DD and I cleaned off my desk this afternoon and that didn't leave me enough time to finish my card before heading off for the afternoon/evening taxi service, grocery shopping, baby shower purchasing and the all-important Project Runway watching. At any rate I finally have it completed and decided to try to take a picture and upload still before I head to be. Hopefully I can get a better picture in the morning. I have been having fun playing along with the Love Fest Challenges and today's sponsor Unity Stamps gave us a beautiful inspiration picture with gorgeous colors to play around with. My teenage DD told me I was too literal, but I was fascinated with the delicate flowers. For my back circle panel, I did a type of polished stone bg-with a glove on, I soaked cotton balls in alcohol and added reinker drops but instead of the traditional polished stone application, I sponged and swiped the colors onto my glossy cardstock. For my branch I die cut some Chocolate Chip and punched blue polished stone pieces for the flowers. I layered another punched dp flower and the tiny centers are dots of red polished stone paper punched with the owl punch. I raided my butterfly stash and added a couple along with gem trails. I cut the sentiment from a piece of dp and layered over a strip. The corners are ticket punched.
