Although the VSBN deadline has passed, I'm still working on the Share the Love challenges. This one is for "In a Sequence," which Charlsanne (cla616) revived for this VSBN. We had to arrange 3 or more pictures from the same photo session in a sequence. I chose some photos of my DGD learning how to snowboard. Although I tend to think of white, pale blues, purples and greens for outdoor winter pages, I realized I've been on a kick using those colors, so I picked pink for a change. I like how it turned out. This also fits Patty's Snowy page challenge from Jan. 24.
I used several digi techniques, including masking and blending and extraction.
Journaling: “Your first time ever on a snowboard and you’re lookin’ awesome, girl! Of course, what we don’t see here is the instructor who was right behind you making sure you stayed upright!...This was the first trip of the year up to the Snowbowl in Flagstaff, AZ. Mom, Dad, you and Mady were there for the day along with Brett, Chris P. and some other friends….When Grandma saw you a few days later, she asked how you liked snowboarding and you said it was good, but next time you’d like to try skiing to see how you liked that. Either way, it looks like you could become a snow bunny over the years ahead!”
