My card is for a long-time friend I met when I FIRST started stamping. She has been having a rough time with her children lately, and I think she could use a pick-me-up. As young mothers, I think we often have the misconception that raising babies is the hardest part of parenting. We feel like surely after we are done changing diapers and wiping noses, that somehow motherhood will be full of rainbows and ponies... and it is. But sometimes it's full of problems, and trouble... and DRAMA. LOL Here's to motherhood, all the stages of raising kids, and surviving it with as little gray hair as possible.
She has been there for me through the past MANY years and offered so much love and support to me when I needed it. She's a truly special person, and I am SO lucky to be able to call her "friend".
I plan to tuck this card, the stamp set I used to make this card (a new one of course), and a lot of love in an envelope in hopes of brightening her day.
I hope you'll join me in choosing someone and making THEIR day, someday soon. |
