Oy, this card is not the card I had in mind! Hopefully it will still be okay for Diane. This week, the teaparty is for Phyllis's (SparklePlenty1000) friend, Denise.
Denise is facing some very serious medical problems relating to her hip replacement ten years ago. She is an artist and is partial to trees and landscapes. She likes cats and flowers especially tulips and roses and she likes a lot of color.
The papers are Graphic45 from the French Country collection. I emossed the Eiffel tower on some black cardstock and added it. I had the "Bonjour" embossed in gold also, but it just didn't show up as well, so I had to use the sad, white cardstock and edged it in chalk. I wish it were prettier, but at least it is unique : )
Thanks for taking a peek!

At first glance I thought, How deep and rich are those argyle dp's! And then to add the rose vines and very pretty colored center flowers, makes this quite an eye-appealing card indeed~Sometimes I think we are our own worst critics, Kathleen!

Kathy this is awesome. I love this paper and the sunflower images. You captured the feel of Paris with your roses and Eiffel Tower image. How beautiful this turned out. Your sentiment is perfect. Super sweet card.

Kathleen, this card is beautiful! The harlequin bg is perfect for the rose vines and sunflowers! The bright and bold Bonjour, it's perfect for the card that says "hello" in a beautiful way!

Oh wow - what a wonderful feel this has, Kathleen. That paper is so rich and surely has a great sophisticated French feel. For me the sunflowers are perfect too - we've seen whole fields of them there (not warm enough for them as a commercial crop here!). And the yellow roses tie in perfectly with Sheri's story >
