Victorian Boot

Poster: Rox71

The free boot image can be found on the Graphics Fairy blog. I cropped out the wording on the image, did the quick erase in Photoshop for the background and flipped the image for this card.

The texture stamped on the pink borders is from Biblical Impressions and I stamped it twice in each spot.

Ranger Old Paper distress ink was applied to all cardstock edges and over the buttons.

Spellbinder Nestabilities were used to cut the pink scalloped and sand panels.

I used a Cuttlebug mini embossing folder to create the dots along the edge of the lower off white layer of the image panel and the Scor-Pal for the embossed lines on the top layer. To avoid embossing over the image I held the panel to a light source (table lamp in this case) and marked the image edges with a pencil so when I flipped the panel for embossing I could easily see where to stop.

The buttons are cut with Sizzix dies and the Cuttlebug Herringbone folder was used to emboss the square button.

The small heart is cut with a Fiskars hand held punch, the larger is cut with a Stampin Up punch.

The flowers are cut with EK Success punches and the fern with a Martha Stewart punch.

The lace is from My Mind’s Eye found at Archivers. It is taped to the back side of the panel.

Aleene’s tacky glue was used to attach the flowers, ferns and buttons. Aleene’s Paper Glaze was used to attach the pearls.

Paper: unknown off white linen, Stampin Up – sand and pink, Paper Pizazz – polka dots

So pretty--love the vintage look of it!
