IC376, Limoges Inspired

hi there,
Here is my card for the IC today from the Limoges Box Collector. Here is the box that inspired me:

It spoke to me as my mom used to love and had a few of these little boxes.
I started by stamping the new bkg. from Penny Black onto white cardstock then embossed it with white. Then using a water pen, I coloured the flowers and the leaves with Distress inks.

GORGEOUS! Even before I saw the name, it reminded me of the boxes my mother used to collect. This is spot on!

Ahh, Karen....this is so fresh and beautiful! I love the big flowers and wonderful greenery. Love the sentiment tag too, with the row of embossed dots.
