QFTD152 ~ Mary's First
Added to Favorite
xxxx

Photo Details
Poster: Redbugdriver

Today Trish crowned a new Queen..... Mary, octoberbabe now wears the royal crown. Congratulations Mary. You have a lovely gallery & I so enjoyed looking at many on my way to your first upload. Beautiful gallery Queen Mary.
This is also for today's F4A to use colors that make you happy. Well, red makes me happy. I love red even though it's not the main color here, but I'm very happy w/ how this card came together.
I wavy cut the flower off the sentiment & it's really not as crooked as it looks.
Here are the changes I made to Mary's Easter Card seen here.
My card is general, not themed. I added a layer, did not do crayon resist. I didn't add pearls & my oval goes vertical. I used a different ef too.
Mary, I hope I did your first card justice and that you like it. Enjoy your time as Queen and all the cards made in your honor.

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek.

PS- This will be my last QFTD card for a few weeks as I'm having knee replacement surgery on Monday.

Karen, this is wonderful! I like how your font of the sentiment goes SO well with your line drawing of a stylized rose. The brick EF gives a terrific textural interest.

Karen, what a wonderful wonderful sentiment! It is so true isn't it? I love how you interpreted my Easter 2012 card. I love the brick bg and it is so perfect for the stick drawn flower and sentiment. And once again, nothing more striking than red, black and white!! Thank you so much for playing along today, and hope your knee surgery is successful and recovery is rapid. Hugs!!!

Love your sentiment Karen. Your brick eb bg is the perfect bg for this card along with your flower in the oval. Fantastic job. TFS :0)
