This is the card I made for Hubby for Valentines Day. I know what you are thinking...Oh no..not that Faux Silk technique again! Yeah..I love doing it so..too bad! LOL I decided that this Valentine should have a sort of winter theme to it since we are up to our eye-holes in snow this year. The main image is a serviette that I added some small 3-D hearts to. The border punch is Martha Stewart and the snowflake is from Die-versions. The greeting is from one of the first sets I ever purchased from SU.

Very cool technique! I will have to try that sometime! I think your snowman is a cutie and the heart gems for buttons really add to how adorable your card looks! Now I have to go look up "serviette"...LOL

I love your faux silk cards, Sue. This is so cute and for many of us we are still in the throes of winter so I think it is a most appropriate valentine! Sure your DH loved it!

Your DH must have loved this beautiful, wintry Valentine card! You do an awesome job with serviettes - I have tried using serviettes and get myself into a mess with them! I must try this technique you love so much because it certainly looks fantastic!!
