 | | Though I've always loved the vintage look, I only make vintage cards occasionally. This time I was inspired by a beautiful art deco embossing folder my mum-in-law gave me, kind lady that she is.
The faux wood look of the central panel was achieved using Hero Arts Shadow Ink in Soft Brown direct to paper; I lightly "danced" a sponge with this ink over the same panel to imitate spritzing.
The dry embossed panel was such fun to do: inking up the negative side of the EF with a brayer before running it through the Big Shot, then painting some shimmer paint over the raised edges, and lots over the red blossom :-)
Thanks for looking! |
