I was lucky enough to catch the early posting of tomorrow's- oops, make that today's colour challenge of white, lucky limeade and tangerine tango.
I wanted to dip into my new saleabration goodies so this colour combo was great- I got to use some the tangerine ribbon and a button from the Sycamore Street ribbon/button pack, and the pinwheel sizzlit and honeycomb ef.
I borrowed a recent sketch from PTI to get started, which helped because orange and green are two colours I almost never seem to put together. I'm so glad I got to do that here; it feels like my little creativity muscles have had a good stretch.
I didn't have any DSP with the required colours so I made some up with a couple of cover-a-card stamps. So handy, those things! And yes, I learned the hard way to do the white heat embossing first, and the versamark background second on that green piece. The first try was quite a mess.
