 | | Leticia works at my gym in the housekeeping department. As best I can tell, her main job is to care for the towels -- gather them from the laundry bins, wash, dry and fold and stack them back in the locker room and the exercise classrooms.
It's not a glamorous job by any stretch of the imagination. But Leticia has a true "bloom where you're planted" attitude. Though her English seems to be limited, she always smiles and says hello and/or goodbye to me when she sees me. And there is no question that having clean, warm towels after a workout and shower starts the day out well and leaves a girl feeling mighty pampered.
I made this card for Leticia to let her know that people do notice the good job she does and the pleasant way she treats the club members. Inside, the sentiment reads, "You're appreciated more than you'll ever know."
