Made this as a Valentine for my friend who loves birds and purple. (I hope the challenge police won't catch me for the Rose Red heart.)
Bird is removable. Here is how I did it:
Die cut two of the Elegant Birds--flipping the designer paper so that I had matching symmetrical halves. (opposites) Used Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue (skinny end) to run a very thin line of glue from the bird's beak (inside) to tip of the tail--TOP only. Put the heart in the beak and glued the two halves together on the top only. Attached the wings with the Tombow Multipurpose Liquid glue. The bird was not stuck together on the bottom half, so it could be opened to decorate the top corner of the envelope. (I wrote "Perch bird here" on the corner of the card, so the recipient would know what to do with the bird.)
I embossed the sentiment with Versamark and white EP, then lightly sponged Wisteria Wonder ink lightly over the white sentiment so it would show up.
