This is my card for the Inspiration challenge - to be inspired by the Angel at My Table website. I didn't have to look long. The inspiration hit me in the face - suddenly - on the opening page. I saw the 'partial' of this
and scrambled to find it. I don't use this stamp very often and I love it, so this was perfect. Now DH and I are arguing as he says it's too busy, but it's a "Gramma Card" not a "Guy Card" so he just doesn't understand. The memories I have of gramma type people - whether mine or someone else's are busy patterns, so I made this one busy. Maybe it was the wallpaper.
I used a scrap of dp that has been around a long time, stamped the image and colored parts of it. Then I cut out my new Memory Box Honeyblossom in black and glued it on. Last, but not least I stamped Happy Birthday with my stamp that makes it look hand written. Now wouldn't a Victorian gramma do that!? I like it, but will try another simpler one later so DH can rest.

Carol, I love this card, and it definitely is a Gramma card. Reminds me of the fabric in one of my Gramma's aprons..same colors, pattern. I think DH has no clue!! LOL!

This is brilliant Carol, I get this totally!! The perfect touch is the faux handwritten sentiment, that sealed the deal for me! That is exactly what a Victorian gramma would do with a card she was sending! Great job on this!! (I think I need to go find that sentiment stamp for me...)

I love these flowers in a bottle. I almost used the same stamp. I totally get what you're saying, but..... I kinda agree w/ Bob. Don't get mad at me b/c I really like this card! I really do. Reminds me of my grandma - a whole lot!

Oh my gosh I love it! Never ask a guy about artwork- I've learned that one! It's awesome and unique! That's what makes it so special- and yes, grandma's had the wildest wallpaper on earth. Must have been a rule back then- it's not a home unless you pick your big- flowered wallpaper.
Love this idea and love your card!
