 | | This is my card for the Inspiration challenge - to be inspired by the Angel at My Table website. I didn't have to look long. The inspiration hit me in the face - suddenly - on the opening page. I saw the 'partial' of this
http://www.anangelatmytable.com/flow...vas-8265-p.asp
and scrambled to find it. I don't use this stamp very often and I love it, so this was perfect. Now DH and I are arguing as he says it's too busy, but it's a "Gramma Card" not a "Guy Card" so he just doesn't understand. The memories I have of gramma type people - whether mine or someone else's are busy patterns, so I made this one busy. Maybe it was the wallpaper. :)
I used a scrap of dp that has been around a long time, stamped the image and colored parts of it. Then I cut out my new Memory Box Honeyblossom in black and glued it on. Last, but not least I stamped Happy Birthday with my stamp that makes it look hand written. Now wouldn't a Victorian gramma do that!? I like it, but will try another simpler one later so DH can rest. |
