Cool inspiration site..I loved it all! I choose these storage tins for inspiration. The lacy patterns reminded me of some Anna Griffin stamps I had. This card is also for the Mix-Ability challenge which involved emboss resist. I first applied gesso to my patterned bg paper, then I stamped the lace borders in Versamark and clear embossed. I used distress inks to sponge over the images. The edges of the patterned paper are gold embossed to add some highlight.

Oh, Polly, what a beautiful card. You did an amazing job with this technique. Gives such a fabulous vintage touch. Think I am going to have to go out and get some of that "gesso".

What a lovely card! I love this technique- as a matter of fact I have an image I just used the emboss resist on, I just have to make it into a card.
