I was asked to make a 60th birthday card and what fabulous inspiration at today's Inspiration Challenge website - Angel at My Table. I think I could make cards all day long inspired by this website!
I chose this vintage rose cushion, it made me think of this dp by KaiserCraft called Sweet Nothings.
I sponged all edges for the vintage look and added a die-cut butterfly - in the end I felt the butterfly was too big and overshadowed the rest of the card, but I don't have a butterfly die-cut which would have been just the right size. The sentiment has been computer generated using Monterey font.

Gorgeous!! This is sweet, soft, and yet warm and comfortable with the soft color scheme! The butterfly is fine, it's open airiness makes it perfect, Bridget!

The size of your butterfly looks just perfect, Bridget and this is such a soft and gorgeous card. Love your use of the bakers twine and lace--you do detail to "the nines"
