I had to make another masculine birthday card. My first two attempts had this image chalked in some brilliant colors…But I guess that will be a future card because I just couldn’t finish it satisfactorily. The oval frame slipped when I was embossing it but I ended up with some interesting embossing ON the frame that I liked, so I decided to go with it. You can’t see it but the bottom of the frame matches the pattern on the top. I had feathers EVERYWHERE when I was trying to pick the perfect two to go on this card…in fact I am still finding them….
Inkadinkado geese flying
Spellbinder oval (2 sizes to create frame)
Amuse Happy Birthday
Black ribbon from Jo Anns (tied in a simple knot which I had trouble taking the picture so it showed)
3 small plastic dots
Versfine Onyx black ink
Watercolor paper for card front
Black SU card stock (Once again I should not have used a black background because you can not see the 1/8 black edge around the watercolor paper front)

WOW Peggy! The card drew my attention since I have thing for nature/wildlife cards! I loved the black and white and that feather- Perfect! I can relate about the feathers! I would have dumped them out just to find that perfect one! Super card!

Ahhhh Peggy, this is really pretty.... I have a cousin in NC that has a log cabin on the lake with lots of geese and ducks, and I have seen them flying over the lake similiar to this.... Thanks so much for sharing....
