 | | This card is for a co-worker and will be from our team. Since the Mom and Dad to-be don't want to know the sex of the baby, had to keep the colors somewhat neutral.
My inspiration for this card was Zacksmeema's sweet holiday card. I kept the basic layout with the flags and the circle element, but opted for 4 flags, rather than 3 and a repositioned sentiment. And, of course, I changed the occasion.
Image is Penny Black (and one of my favorite hedgie images). The teddy was colored with prismacolors and covered with sparkly fluff. Everything else is colored using my Copics.
The hammock holding baby hedgie was paper pieced using Pine Cone Papers cardstock from my stash. The other DSPs are from October Afternoon's Sidewalks 8x8 pad.
Added some stickles to the flower centers to give the card a bit of sparkle. |
