Here is my card for the March VSN mini challenge #2, given by Marilyn (mlj-mlj) Her challenge is to Create a Spring-time card featuring FLOWERS
as the main image or the main theme.
This is what I came up with. I already had the flower panel stamped and the center's coloured. I found the embossed Daisy Dp in my stash - I have probably had this paper for over 4 years now. I stamped the sentiment onto vellum paper using memento black ink and clear embossed it. Tore the edges of the vellum. Matted image panel and dp with black cardstock. Rounded the right upper corners of all the papers. Sewed the edges. Cut out one extra flower and popped it up over the vellum - this also covered up a mistake on the bottom flower panel. Glued on the bees and done...
Thanks for looking.
Hugs..Pat

Stunning card, Pat! I love that you added bees since it is part of the VSN theme even though not required for this challenge. Your flower panel is gorgeous & the vellum panel looks so pretty layered over the flowers. I am so happy that you joined the VSN fun. Thanks for playing my challenge.
