IC374 ~ Tissue Flower
Added to Favorite
xxxx

Photo Details
Poster: Redbugdriver

Stef, once again you've taken us to a wonderful inspiration site, full of beautiful handmade jewelry. I could've spent a small fortune in the Villa Sorgenfrei esty shop!! I thought her prices to be very reasonable. My main inspiration came from this Make a Wish locket. It reminded me of the tissue flower, the tutorial can be seen here. I've not made these since high school & I won't tell how many years ago that was!! Only then they were much bigger! I also took inspiration from the dandilion charm & the color tourquoise that I saw.
I used the Kindred Spirit ef from ProvoCraft & sponged the edges w/ Ranger Walnut Stain, kind of giving a bronze look (like the locket chain). Using the stamp positioner I stamped the senti 3 times for color.
This was a fabulous site to wander through.
Thanks for stopping by to take a peek.

Wow! I can really see your inspiration in that card! I love the soft browns for the background -- and your beautiful tissue flower.

I just checked out this tutorial, Karen. Thanks, I'll have to try this sometime soon. Your tissue flower is so pretty, and I'll bet it ships well too since tissue is so soft and easy to flatten. Pretty color combo~

If you haven't made them since High School, you've still got the magic touch. Very pretty Karen.
