 | | This VSN challenge is to use hexagons with extra credit for adding a bee like the ones Brenda's dad used to keep. I found this little set of bare rubber stamps at a flea market...have to run back down in a minute to see if there was a name on the set. I haven't jumped onto the hexagon bandwagon yet, so I had to stretch my brain a bit on this one. I remembered seeing a tutorial a while ago on coloring foam squares with PearlEx powder and since SU's dimensionals are hexagons I put them to work with a little gold powder. I punched a large circle in Black then embossed my tiny bees on Whisper White in Onyx with black ep. I colored with markers and punched them out. I stamped my sentiment in Onyx and added my gingham bow. |
