This is for the new Mix-ability challenge. I am so excited about this challenge because I have wanted to learn about mixed media and give it a try - so this is helping me take some baby steps! The challenge is to use both shiny and matte media on your project. I painted some text patterned paper with blue acrylic paint and dried it with my heat gun. That is the matte part. I then stamped the Hero Arts Wildflower Garden image with Versamark and heat embossed it with Superior Detailed White Embossing powder. That is my shiny part. I also added a few shiny blue pearls.

So happy and cheerful, Harriet. I've just read that we have had the greyest January for 49 years, no wonder I've been enjoying all the sunshine and bright colours in the gallery.
