I made this card for my Husbands birthday as a mini family photo card. The finished card fits a 6 Ό square envelope or put it in a 5 x 7 envelope so you dont have to pay extra postage.
There is a template on Creadins web site. However, I found it easier to make my own template. Make a sample template and save it so you never have to make it again. Cut cardstock 6 x 10. Put a dark line around the edges of the template.
Score the 10 side at 4 and 6. Score the 6 side from 4 to 6. Turn cardstock and score the other 6 side from 4 to 6. You now have a 4 square at the bottom left side and a 4 square at the top right side. Score the 11 side at 2 and 4 just to the 4 score line. This gives you the 3 - 2 squares on the top. Turn the cardstock and repeat on the other 10 side. This gives you the 3 - 2 squares on the bottom. On the 11 side, use your X-acto knife and cut along the score line from 2 to 6. Turn cardstock and repeat on the other 11 side.
Place Template on your copier and make a temporary copy on typing paper. Paper Clip typing paper Template to your cardstock. Lay it on your ScorPal and score on the lines. Using your X-acto knife to cut on the cut lines. Remove the temporary template.
Fold on the score lines: The Top section of the card: The 2 Score is a Mountain Fold; the 4 Score is a Valley Fold. The 6 score is not folded. The Middle section of the card: The 4 Score is a Mountain Fold; the 6 Score is a Valley Fold. The Bottom section of the card: The 6 score is a Mountains Fold. The 8 Score is a Valley Fold. The 4 score is not folded.
There is a Mini Card that goes on the 4 Sq. on the bottom left. Cut a piece of the card base 4 x 8 and score at 4. Fold in ½. Adhere mini card to the bottom left 4 Square. On the inside add DSP. I used Spellbinders Classic Octagons-Small #7, #6, #5, #3 and Large #5 and also Nestabilities Decorative Labels 27 #3. All the words are computer generated.
Add DSP to each square on the front and add your pictures.
