Joanne's challenge to the CCEE Stampers this week is to make a card with a HOT theme - any take on hot that you like. It looks as if quite a few of us thought of the beach on a sunny summer's day! We've had so much wind and rain and grey skies here, I'd love to join Snoopy.
This is a 5 1/2" square card.
Stampabilities - At the Beach stamped on watercolour paper, cut with square Nestabilities and coloured with distress inks while still in the die ~ Scattered straw, squeezed lemonade, salty ocean, milled lavender, tumbled glass, shabby shutters, spiced marmalade, victorian velvet, frayed burlap.
Sentiment is from MFT, cut with Labels 4. Paper is Basic Grey Sugar Rush with the edges distressed, and is meant to look like a beach towel! I added a little shell embossed with Iridescent Ice and popped up on foam.

I'm with you, Sabrina. I would love some sunshine and the beach. It has been so dreary here this winter. I think there is a promise of a partial day of sunshine today...can't wait to see it. Just the cutest card for the CCEE challenge.

I so wanna join beach Snoopy right about now. It's cold and snowy here. Say, your background paper really does resemble a beach towel, which was genius on your part. Terrific coloring on this hot scene, too. Cute card, Sabrina!
