Gail (mamaxsix) is the featured player in this week's CAS challenge, and a look at her fantastic gallery demonstrates why. I wanted to make a card to honor her, and chose this one to CASE:
I love the beautiful background and silhouette she created! To create my card, I stamped the bg with VersaMark on watercolor paper and brushed with Perfect Pearls Perfect Copper. I then stamped the flower in Versa and heat embossed using black ep. Happy surprise, some of the ep stuck to the background, creating this interesting effect. If that's what I'd been aiming for it never would have worked! Matted on a black diagonal with squared corners on top of copper shimmer cs and adhered to a black cardbase.
Stamps: Stampabilities Grungy Grid Background, Penny Black Blush
As always, thanks for looking!

Beautiful! I love the background you created. That effect of the black powder in the middle is wonderful...don't you just love surprises like that?! This is a lovely card.
