 | | I wanted to CASE a card from this week's Featured Stamper Bonnie aka bon2stamp's awesome gallery. I also decided to play along in today's technique challenge to use a large scale stamp with a small one. I started from this beautiful card of Bonnies. I decided to reverse the color scheme of Not Quite Navy and Whisper White so I stamped my main flower in white on the NQN cs. I stamped my sentiment in NQN and sponged the edges. Instead of dp I decided to use a smaller scale floral stamp and used the same white on navy scheme. Instead of punching the scallop trim border, I used a piece of white die cut with the Tasteful Trims die. In keeping with the large scale/small scale I embellished with some pearls. I mistakenly cut my back blue layer too small, but liked the corner effect when I popped the image panel over it. |
