Whitewashed Blooms

I stamped this image a couple of weeks ago, thinking that I was going to try the technique Karen Barber used on one of the most gorgeous cards ever:

I have been looking at this since then, trying to decide how to finish it. Then I found this piece on our inspiration site for today, Octo-Purse:

Had to be karma! I dotted the stamens and flower centers with clear Gelly Roll Stardust pen and called it finished. I'm actually very pleased with it.

Stamps: Stampendous Fresh Bloom
Ink, etc: Colorbox Frost White, VersaMark, Ranger Distress Markers (tip: you CAN NOT judge by the color of the cap!!!)
Paper: Paper Studio card base

How incredibly beautiful! Those flower are just fabulous! I agree- those markers can make one crazy trying to figure out what real color they are!
