This card is supposed to mimic the triple stamping technique. Since I already had the fussy-cut image and wanted to use it, I positioned SB matting dies over it, attached with removable tape and ran through my Big Shot. Shimmer white cs was cut into layers using the same dies, and the flower pieces attached to their corresponding layer. The layers are all popped up with a matching foam diecut. I cut a shimmer copper piece to match the size of my cardbase rather than make the card base out of the copper cs - it just isn't sturdy enough on its own to handle the weight of the layers.
The dahlia was stamped on white shimmer cs with VersaMark and embossed with white ep. I splattered water on the paper and colored with a water brush and various Distress Stains blended with Tarnished Brass. I primarily used Barn Door and Orange Marmalade; there's a bit of Concord Grape.
Butterflies in copper and gold shimmer cs were punched with a MS punch and adhered with Glossy Accents. I used Scor-Tape for everything else.
Since this card could be used for lots of different occasions, I didn't add a sentiment to the front.
As always, thanks for looking!
