 | | I'm trying to catch up with the TeaPot Tuesday challenges... this card is for Sherry, a dear friend of fellow teapotter Phyllis.
I was so intrigued by the technique used on this card I saw on Pinterest, I had to give it a try. I stamped the background and sponged the edges, used my dies to cut out the section for the leaves first and then the flower. Cut a set of leaves in Pool Party and a sunflower in Calypso Coral and Soft Suede, then carefully fit the pieces back together, using a lot of scotch tape on the back to hold everything in place.
