I never can remember how to spell cloisonne. And I'm a great speller!
The other day, another stamper used faux cloisonne and I was reminded how much I love that technique. The stamps are called cloisonne octagons. I used some of my stash of artist created paste papers. The torn paper layer is also an artist created paste paper, I simply added the direct to paper Distress inks to bring out the design, which mimics the organic designs of the stamp. Now that the temp is going up here in frigid WI, it is very gray outside and I wanted a cheerful warm look to my card.

Your card is absolutely stunning. Can't quit looking at it. Love the technique you chose.
