I had some extra time on my hands yesterday and this embroidered die-cut to finish so I thought I would kill two birds with one rock! I loved the CAS sketch challenge too so the two came together automatically. The die-cut is from Joy Crafts and I embroidered it with Gutermann metallic thread. I got this die way before Christmas and did a few embroidered pieces just to see how they looked. I sponged a little colour on the flower edges and added a little bling. Martha Stewart lent me her lace border punch and good old Swiss Dots made everything bumpy! The sentiment is from Mikes $1.50 bin. I you are interested I have added a close-up of the embroidery in the next photo.

This is nothing short of amazing! You must have the patience of a saint to do this. I have the patience of a St. Bernard, so I know I will never be doing this technique!! Gorgeous card, Sue!!
