This week our cards are going off to Illinois, to Becky, who has been undergoing many treatments for Leukemia.
Becky loves Americana, and big loud bikes (motorcycles ?), so you're going to see a patriotic them in the gallery this week.
I went with the Americana. This is not my usual card, it's stamped, masked and reverse masked. There are only two dies cuts and those are the red stars. There are a few punches. This is not to say that I didn't use a lot of die cuts to make this card though. After all I had to die cut the stars for both parts of the masking.
The eagle is stamped on top of all the masking, with just a little white penciling for the head and tail feathers.

I know how time consuming all that masking is I did the same thing once with hearts. Oh well it was worth it the effect is great. Love that eagle stamp. January is our month for eagle watching in Vancouver so we've seen lots of them flying around lately.
