I created this for today's CAS204 sketch challenge. I created it with a new technique "resist stamping".
The technique is done on glossy white cs. Stamp your image with versamark, and stamp in various places on the glossy cs. Heat dry the image, and then sponge color over the entire cs. The watermark image resists the ink without embossing. I used 3 different colors: dried marigold, peeled paint, and stormy sky.
Then once you have the palette the way you want, stamp your dragonfly with the darkest ink (stormy sky) and off-stamp over the original dragonfly. After complete, lightly spray with acrylic matte finishing spray to dull it down.
I hope this all makes sense. It sounds like a lot of work, but it really is rather quick and easy.
Thanks so much for looking, hope you like it.

Barb, this is a "knock-me-over-with-a-feather" card!! GORGEOUS! Love your dragonfly images and beautiful color combo...the bg peach sets your panel off in a wonderful way. Thanks for the new tip on using VM...never knew. : )
