hi there,
Here is my card for the CAS challenge today based on a sketch. I have been battling a sore back so I was so happy to have a chance to play along.
I was playing with my distress inks again and created the bkg. by inking up my acrylic block with blues, spraying with water and randomly stamped it being sure to overlap areas...re-inked it every time. I added a swipe with my ink pad directly to my card front, mounted the flowers and added the sentiment.

What a wonderful card, Karen. A beautiful mix of blues here; I should play more with the inks to create backgrounds. And I love the side swipe. So glad your back is better and you can play along.

Karen this is really pretty. I love that your flower is white but stamped in the same color. I hope your back gets better. I had back surgery in June and suffered with it for years so I do understand how it is. Great card.

Karen, you come up with the most creative ideas that are simple in their concept and extraordinary in their execution....like the "swish" of paint. Your bg and white blossoms are gorgeous! FABULOUS card.
