I was doing laundry the other day and as I put the lint in the lint/laundry trash box I noticed the Shout Color Catcher I'd used with the new clothes after Christmas (teals/blue/purple) and thought "what a pretty color, I wonder if I could use it as a mat on a card." I took it inside and discovered it was slightly lighter than Baja Breeze, so I made the flower card. Shout Color Catcher 1 by KTstamper at Splitcoaststampers
This didn't show off this cool find enough though, so I wanted to make something that focused on it a little more--the polka dot card. I love how the stamping came out on it, and the different texture it gives. I'm not sure how scrapbook friendly it is, but I had fun with it! note--I used lots of mono adhesive on a piece of Baja and adhered it to that before trimming it. I discovered with the flower card that it's hard to get square corners because it's soft and wrinkled, and doesn't lay down nice in the paper cutter.

Very cool texture! I like the faded look of the stamping on the sheets, sort of soft and distressed!

You stamped on a Shout sheet! Wow! How clever. I would never have thought of that. Look how lovely it turned out. Very nice color combo, too. This card is a homerun! Nicely done. TFS
