I changed the color scheme, image, and sentiment. I also added 2 bg panels to compliment the colors I chose on the main panel. I did use my brayer but using a technique I just learned. Taking plastic wrap drop a couple of drops of alcohol ink and also a couple of drops of alcohol blending solution. Squish together, un-squish - lol, and run your brayer through. It will come out looking mottled. I think it leaves an interesting palette. Really quick and easy - but a bit messy :#
Thanks so much for taking a closer look. Hope you like it

Ohmygosh, I've GOT to try that technique! Wherever did you find it? Love, love, love this card. The earthy colors, clean (if mottled!) layout, simple sentiment, and silhouette are perfection. Oh, wow. thanks!

Love those colours together. They are like the lovely patina you find on old copper. The black silhouette stamp agains it is perfect. Actually has a bit of an Asian look. Ginko and celedon? Great tribute to Brenda. TFS
This is gorgeous! I love that bg and will definitely try this. I have so much stuff but have never ventured into alcohol inks. But I am going to try this. Love it.

Your brayered background and colors are so pretty Barb!!! I am LOVING all these wonderful techniques you are sharing on your beautiful cards!!! The stamped image is so pretty and I really like those black peppery dots? I am not sure if you did that with a toothbrush? But the effect over your brayering is fantastic! Gorgeous card!!!
