I was intrigued to try a new style card that I found on the From My Craft Room blog called Peek-A-Boo Card Tutorial which can be found here: http://frommycraftroom.blogspot.ca/2...cm-square.html
When the card is closed you see the rose bud but as the card is opened, the rose that is in full bloom slides in front of hte rose bud. It was fun and easy to make. I made it for a friend's birthday that is coming up at the end of the month. Thanks for looking!

Great dp and love the sponging you did for accenting. Your rose is amazing and the coloring of it is awesome. Love the cool techniue you used to change the bud to full bloom. Your friend will be awed by your creativity!
