SC419 Bird Greetings

Photo Details
Poster: Mrs Noofy

Very interesting sketch to-day and I finally got a chance to upload.. whew... It is an unspoken tradition among my stamp group that if we can liberate a serviette (paper napkin) from someone's house it will end up as a card at our next meeting. I liberated this little beauty from my Smocking Guild meeting and used the Faux Silk technique http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/re...als/faux_silk/ to make the central image. The red stripe paper is embedded into the white card stock with a spellbinder folder. The greeting is from flourishes.

Your friends certainly have MUCH pretier napkins than mine do! : ) What a beautiful image and I love how you incorporated it into your card. The red windowpane check is so pretty with it too. You really created an outstanding card, Sue!

Sue, I love how you recycled the napkin...it's too beautiful not to do something with it! Such beautiful texture too! Love it!
