The starting point for this card was the Eiffel Tower image from my December Kit of the Month (Unity). I stamped it, die cut it and then sponged the edges with Tattered Rose Distress Ink while it was still in the die. I liked the result so much I had to go ahead and make a card out of it.
The vintage looking strip running vertically is a repeated block stamp from the same set, stamped in Versafine Sepia and gone over with Distress Ink in Scattered Straw and Spiced Marmalade. I use my Crafters Companion Harlequin stencil and a Hero Arts heart stamp for the BG, and finished with some twine and my paper button.
The button is from PTI's Button Up set, glued to a circle punched out of the coasters they sell. The perfect material to back a paper button!
Thanks for looking!

How could I see an Eiffel Tower and not pop in to take a closer look at it. My mother was French, and I just love Paris. Well, I love France, but we try to get to Paris most years. I really like that collage-style background, but even more the block print pattern in sepia. The plaid button adds a fun touch of chic style!!
