This week Peggy gave us the " Red Pirouette Wonder" challenge. Make a card with the colors Rose Red, Pink Prouette and Wisteria Wonder with the dessrt option of circles. There are lots of things with circles, but I chose a clock.
The clock face is in Pink Pirouette and was made with the Picturesque cartridge and I stamped the flowers and did a little paper piecing with the Rose Red. The Wisteria Wonder frame around the clock face was made with the Elegant Edges cartridge (Citrus1 frame) with the Rose Red backing (Citrus1 Shadow).
The base of the clock was made with Picturesque Cartridge (Doily) in Wisteria Wonder and (Doily Shadow) in Rose Red. I used the Basic Black for the clock hands and both scalloped circles. I did add just a little chalk to the edges of the base with ColorBox Wisteria chalk.
Peggy, I will admit, these were not the easiest colors for me, but it was GREAT to try something new!
** I went back and added some green to the stamped flowers. I just couldn't help myself, I think the added green helps so much!
