Alabama Rose. Oh, she is sweet! And you should see what's on her kitchen counter! Mercy....she's got a bit of everything. She's so talented, she can even digi it! Yes...m'am! Her kitchen counter faces out into the backyard which has tractors, a catfish pond, horses, and cows. How inspiring!
Ok, now back to Rose. You know, she had a birthday, way back in November (kinda like nwilliams6), and you know, she didn't get a timely card either! Hmph! So, this lil gal is bringing them both some roses, and they are stitched up fine in chicken scratch too. Country style.
The main image is a card I have hoarded since my teens (and mercy, that was a looooong time ago!) There were no credits on the cards I saved, but it reminds me of Bessie Pease Gutmann. I have loved this artwork forever, and decided to share it with a sweet friend I treasure. Happy Birthday my friend. Hope you still have cake on that kitchen counter! LYMIMIMIMIMI to the quadrillionth level!
Thanks for looking!

Well now, this was surely worth the wait, Pat, to get a "cream of the crop" one of a kind card like this, to your dear friend! Your stitching on the BG pieces is particularly wonderful, and the delicate lace and pretty new Frame for this vintage image, bring a gentleness much like a big HUG!
I know this will be treasured and looked at with much love many times a day - your heart on paper, once again, sends its Love!
