We've crowned a new Queen today! Congratulations Jennifer, you are a most deserving Queen. Your gallery is amazing.
You uploaded several items on Dec. 23,2009 I chose the first card, Blue Dahlia although I was very intrigued by the reindeer bag. It was somehting I knew I couldn't do. Blue Dahlia can be seen here.
Your card seemed to be to be like an envelope. I found this purple-ish (it's not blue) envelope & cut the edges off for my pink flower. I used an old cuttlebug die for the corners. I shaped the MS leaves w/ my stylus after scoring some leaf lines. The flower is 3 layers of SU flower punch & 3 layers of an eksuccess flower punch. Added an antique brad & liked the look so I called it done.
I hope you like my version of your pretty first card.
Thanks for stopping by to take a peek.

Karen, this is beautiful!! I love the flower on the light blue bg! I may have to go back and revisit that design, I was very green to the ways of SCS back then (though still very green IMO)! A collection of dies has moved me along! Thank you

Karen, a lovely honor to our Queen!

Sister, I love this bloom! Gorgeous layers, and wonderful color. What a sweet case! The antique brad is the cherry on top. Love it!
