This is for today's sketch challenge given by Janette. I flipped the sketch to fit the image I wanted to use. All of my papers are retired SU except the base which is Chocolate Chip. The image if from Flourishes. They have such great quality stamps. I stamped this in Versa Mark and used Early Espresso ep from SU. As you can tell I am NO seamstress! But I am enjoying learning how to sew on my cards. My machine is so old but it does fine for paper.
Thanks for looking and hope you like my card. I think I am sending this to my uncle for his birthday. Maybe. He loves coming out here and sitting on my deck watching my horses in the pastures. So this makes me think of him.
Thanks Janette for this sketch. I had fun making my card.

Fabulous scene!!! I love that you heat embossed in the brown. The papers you used are so perfect together and your sewing is fabulous!!! Having the seams a little off adds to the charming feel of your card!!! That button is awesome!!! This really is a FANTASTIC masculine card!!!
WOW! This is fabulous. I love that you embossed your image on designer paper...must remember to do that because it gives a totally different (and striking) feel for the card than if embossed on solid color. And your stitching is great. I have NEVER tried it because I'd be afraid of ruining an almost-finished card, but you've inspired me to give it a go. Now, if I could only remember where I put that old sewing machine LOL!

wonderful! I love the stitching and I tend to sew on most of my cards because I feel like it just adds some nice texture to it. I tend to make my stitches a little larger so it doesn't show as many of my mistakes lol
